Rationale In fact,  I did on trial & error basis. First I saw a relationship as muliples of 4, then deducted a fixed number 30. 
But, still I got stuck at 62, it did not come, unless 10 was deducted. 
Then I went backwards, finally it fitted well where I could 
prove 6 was the number before 12.

The number before the 12 was 11 because 1x1=1 and 11+1=12. 
I cannot find a number before the 11.
What is the number after the 102? Is it 102 because 102+1x0x2=102 or 
is it 122 because 102+10x2=122? or 104 because 102+1x02=104?

We can all consider the possibilities.  I assumed the series would 
start going 102, 102, 102,...adding zeros? and I think that the set
