Justin Timberlake



With his blond curls, his sweet smile and adorable face, Justin Timberlake looks like an angel. Don't be fooled though, this 18 year-old, can cause plenty of trouble when he wants to. But it's all part of his mischievous charm. Ever since his experience on the Mickey Mouse Club, he's been busy winning hearts all across America. Now with NSYNC, Justin has a whole new gathering of fans screaming his name. And he's enjoying every minute of it. "We love what we're doing," he says.

Coming from Memphis, Tennessee, Justin grew up singing in church and taking voice lessons starting when he was 8 years-old. In 1993, when he was 12, he won a spot on the T.V. show the Mickey Mouse Club, to this day, Justin names his Mickey Mouse Club experience as a great career move. "By far it's, one of the best things I've ever done in my whole life. I couldn't have thought of anything better to do," he says. " You get to dip your fingers into everything. You're not restricted to one thing at all. Doing the comedy was a lot of fun. You weren't restricted to one kind of music."

With his Mickey Mouse Club days behind him, Justin knew he wanted to pursue a music career full-time. After hooking up with the NSYNC guys, he realised he had found his perfect creative style. Even though he was extremely young when he joined the group (he was barely 14) his powerful singing style made him one of NSYNC's vocal stars. And Justin loved being in the spot light- just like he does today. He can be as wild as he wants to be onstage, with NSYNC's amazing choreography and famous harmonies show casing his talents. Justin especially likes the fact that they play with a live band. "With the band, they can change it up a little," he says, "Sometimes the tempo might even be faster or they can add something."

When this prankster is off-stage he enjoys doing typical things most 18-year-olds are into, like marathons on Sony Playstation, watching basketball (his favourite team is the Orlando Magic) and going out dancing. He just recently graduated from high school and has definite plans to go to college someday. And though this single guy doesn't have a girlfriend, he's into meeting girls and going out on dates. Who wouldn't want to hang out with him!
