Camping
I am going to tell you about camping. Camping is living in nature usually in tents, temporarily. I camp once a year with about five families altogether. It's really fun. You get to spend time with your friends (there are lots of people around my age), and you get to almost experience what it's like to be in the wilderness.
Now a days, with all the new inventions coming up, you can live practically like you do at home, while camping. There are outdoor toilets (porta potties), sleeping bags that can keep you warm even when it is below zero, gourmet powderized meals, stoves, lamps, chairs, water filters that enable you to drink any stream's water, and mattresses that blow up. You can even live better than normal!
There are some people, though, who really want to experience nature, and survival. They are dropped off in the middle of nowhere with only a match to live with. After a certain amount of days, they will be picked up again, but before that, they must learn to make shelter, a fire, and find food.
In some ways, I think that being in the complete wilderness is better than car camping, and all those gadgets you can use, because you really get the feel of being alone in nature. I think camping is important because it teaches people to appreciate nature, and motivates them to take better care of their environment.
