Results on Pets
This page is devoted to the answers I received and conclusions I made from my survey.
My conclusions from my survey were that:
1. In most families it's everyone that takes care of the pets
2. Females are the most likely gender to own a pet.
3. Dogs are prefered over all.
4. Colour preference has nothing to do with animal preference.
These are my graphs from which most of my conclusions were derived from:

My slide show script:
I did my slide show on pets. Basically, I tried to figure out who had what pets, who took care of them and which pets they wanted. I was hoping that most people would have the same answers and that there would be some obvious conclusions that I could find from my research.
To find the answers to my questions I made a survey and posted it in several places. One was on the internet and the other was at IECC. I waited approximately one month for enough answers to create my slide show.
My first graph was of who takes care of their pets. Their four choices were; everybody, you, one of your parents and other. The most popular proved to be everybody.
My second graph is of who has a pet. I asked questions like whether they were male or female and whether or not they owned a pet. My conclusion for that graph was that females were the most likely to have a pet.
My third and final graph was called favourite pets. In this category I didn't limit the choices so I received many odd replies and therefore had a lot of categories. Dogs won and tigers came in second.
From the data I have collected there are four conclusions that I have made. Firstly, that it's usually everybody in a family that takes care of their pets. My second conclusion is that females are more likely to own pets. My third conclusion is that dogs are the favourite pet and lastly one of my questions was what their favourite colour was I found that colour preference has absolutely nothing to do with pet preference.
I thought that the process of internet survey is a very good method but it a long time to gather enough data to be able to make conclusions. Most of my responses were very clear however some of them were either to messy to be able to find the answers or just jokes. If I could redo my survey I would take out half of the questions I used because they were pointless. All my graphics were made by me and not stolen.
